'Carny Valley' - Instagram ad

One of my most recent projects included shooting for Carny Valley, a small business who I worked with originally, well over a year ago, to create some Instagram & Website content. I was over the moon to be asked by Carny Valley owner, Cat, to generate some more content for her. Whilst the main goal of the shoot was to get still-content, I couldn't help but want to capture some moving-image.

'Goddess of The Moon' is a commercial shot on Kodak 16mm film for the 2022 Kodak-NAHEMI student awards. We shot a commercial to fit a brief given to students by MoonCup - The commercial won 'Best Production Design' in the competition. If you live in Bristol, you may recognise the film stills, as they were used to advertise the UWE showcase across Bristol!
The Volatility of Skin (2021)

I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot a film I co-wrote on an ARRI ALEXA MINI - this was my first time DP-ing and I'm really proud of how the film turned out.
The film follows a frustrated artist and his muse, whom he is trying to win back over - it was a study on consent.
WRITER and DIRECTOR
A slow film which follows a selective mute and her best-friend's-girlfriend, on their search to find her best-friend. I was inspired by Lawrence Alma-Tadema's painting 'Unconscious Rivals'; the gallery described the women in the painting as friends - I wanted to challenge the idea that women in history are always described as friends, when in fact they could be lovers.
